Close-up of hands clasped in prayer, holding a wooden rosary with a crucifix.

Amen, Amen, Amen

This prayer was inspired by Matthew 27:51b-53 and one of Jesus’ titles, “Tree of Life and Awesome Mystery.” It is the offshoot or second part of the original. Let us pray.

Amen, Amen, Amen

Amen to the One who conquered the grave,

Amen, Your love and power eternally save,

Amen, may our lives reflect Your redeeming grace,

Amen, as we follow Your sacred ways.

Amen to the hope that You freely give,

Amen to the abundant life, we live,

Amen, may our hearts be forever true,

Amen, as we find our strength in You.

Amen to the beauty of each new day,

Amen to the love that will never stray,

Amen, may Your light forever shine,

Amen, as we claim Your truth divine.

Amen to the peace that You impart,

Amen to the stirring of our grateful hearts,

Amen, may we be vessels of Your peace,

Amen, as Your love in us will never cease.

Amen to the One who guides our way,

Amen to the words we humbly pray,

Amen, may Your will forever be done,

Amen, as we surrender to the Holy One.

Amen, amen, our voices rise,

Amen, amen, His name is glorified,

Amen, amen, we sing with joy,

Amen, amen, our hearts You employ.

Amen to the One who conquered the grave,

Amen, His love and power eternally save,

Amen, may our lives reflect His redeeming grace,

Amen, as we follow His sacred ways.

Amen, Amen, Amen
