Text: Psalm 116
CENTERING YOURSELF
One: I will worship the Lord, who hears my cries for help and delivers me from my distress.
All: We will join you in worship and give thanks for God’s mercy and goodness and lift our voices in praise and adoration.
One: The Lord is my refuge and strength, my rock and salvation.
ALL: Not only you; God is our refuge, strength, and salvation. Therefore, we worship Him with joy and reverence, for He alone is worthy of our praise.
One: Loving God, we come before you with grateful hearts, acknowledging your goodness and mercy. As we quiet our minds and hearts, may your peace and presence fill us, renewing our spirits and strengthening our faith. Help us to trust in you and to walk in your ways, following your guidance and seeking your will. Amen

- Have you ever experienced a time when you cried out to the Lord for mercy? What was the situation like, and how did the Lord respond to you?
- What does it mean to you that the Lord is gracious and righteous and full of compassion?
- How do you find rest for your soul in the Lord, especially during times of difficulty?
- How do you express your gratitude to the Lord and fulfill your vows to God in the presence of all his people?
- Have you ever felt protected by the Lord when you were unaware of potential danger or harm? How did you respond to this experience?
- What does it mean to trust in the Lord when you are greatly afflicted and see others as liars?
- What kind of vows have you made to God in the past, and have you fulfilled them to the best of your ability?
- What steps can you take to ensure you fulfill your future vows to God, and what resources do you need to help you stay accountable?
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Gracious God, we confess that we have sinned against you and fallen short of your glory. We have doubted your love, shunned your goodness, neglected your commands, and failed to trust in your promises. Forgive us we pray and renew our faith in you. Help us to turn away from our sin and to follow you with all our hearts, minds, and souls. Strengthen us by your Spirit, that we may live lives worthy of your calling. Amen.
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
This is our good news: We are forgiven and set free in Christ. By His death and resurrection, we are reconciled to God and one another. Therefore, we will rejoice in His grace and mercy and live a life that declares God’s love, accepts His goodness, is obedient to His command, and lives a faith that proves my conviction and trust in God. Amen
PRAYING FOR OTHERS
Loving God, I bring my joys and sorrows, my hopes and fears, my needs and desires, and those of all the world before you. I pray for those suffering; the sick and the dying, the lonely and the lost. I pray for families and friends, neighbors and enemies, leaders and authorities. Guide me and give me a double portion of your wisdom, comfort and strength, healing, and peace. May your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven for everyone everywhere. Amen.
BLESSINGS
Go now, beloved, and walk in the ways of the Lord, following His guidance and seeking His will. May His peace and presence go with you, and His love and grace surround you always. And may the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To Him be the power forever and ever.
