Spiritual Direction & Coaching

Spiritual Direction & Coaching

Some seasons ask for careful attention before they ask for an answer. I offer spiritual direction and coaching for people discerning vocation, living through transition, carrying the demands of ministry, or seeking a more faithful relationship with their own life.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction attends to your life with God, spiritual practice, questions of meaning, and movements of consolation, resistance, desire, and discernment. It is reflective and open-ended.

I will not decide for you. I listen, ask careful questions, and help you notice the patterns, desires, convictions, and choices already present in your life.

Coaching

Coaching helps you clarify a goal, decision, role, habit, or transition. It supports practical movement through agreed actions and accountability. It is goal-oriented and usually time-bounded.

How sessions work

I meet with people in person on Prince Edward Island and online by video call, depending on where you are and what works for your schedule. Most people meet with me every two to four weeks, though we adjust that as we go. The first conversation is simply a chance for us to meet, for you to describe what is on your mind, and for us to decide together whether this is a good fit.

When Other Care Is Needed

Spiritual direction and coaching are not psychotherapy, crisis care, or medical treatment. When another form of care is needed, I may recommend support from an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service.
