I am an ordained minister and Marriage Commissioner, officiating weddings, elopements, vow renewals, baby blessings, baptisms, funerals, and celebrations of life. Each ceremony begins with conversation and is shaped around the people it will honour.
Life and Love

Weddings, Elopements and Vow Renewals

Weddings, elopements, and vow renewals begin with a conversation. I want to hear how you met, what matters to you, and what you want your ceremony to say about the life you are choosing together.

From that conversation, I write a ceremony that sounds like you.

Faith and Belonging

Baptism and Blessings

Baptism is a sacrament of the church, for adults and children who belong to, or are joining, a faith community. I baptize within that context, never as a stand-alone rite. If baptism is what you are looking for, tell me about your congregation and I will help arrange it.

Blessings cover more ground: naming a child, welcoming a new home, opening a business, breaking ground, marking a boat or a set of tools. I meet with you first to shape a service around what the moment needs.

Loss and Remembrance

Funerals and Celebrations of Life

Funerals and celebrations of life hold grief and gratitude in the same room. I meet with the family in advance to learn about the person being remembered, then lead a service that gives their life its proper weight.

How a Ceremony Comes Together

  1. 1We talk.We meet by phone, video, or in person to discuss your ceremony, your people, and what matters to you.
  2. 2I prepare the ceremony.I draft the ceremony and send it to you. We revise it together until the words feel right.
  3. 3We gather. On the day, I arrive early, coordinate the ceremony, and guide it with warmth and care.
